Background:

The ASES (After School Education and Safety) program has been in operation for 1st through 5th-grade students since February 2007, and expanded to offer services to students in transitional kindergarten, kindergarten, and sixth grade beginning August 2022. |

Status: |
|
Our District appreciates the successful collaborative partnership with Livermore Area Recreation and Park District (LARPD), which began in the 2008/2009 school year. LARPD will continue to provide after-school enrichment program opportunities to students who participate in the ASES program and the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P) at Leo Croce Elementary, Jackson Avenue Elementary, Joe Michell K-8 School, Marylin Avenue Elementary and Junction K-8 School. The term of this agreement shall begin September 1, 2024, and will terminate on August 31, 2025. |

There is no impact to the General Fund. All costs associated with the are paid through grant and categorical funds. |
