Staff is bringing a recommendation forward for our Board of Trustees' award of a contract for the Asphalt Repair, Reseal and Restripe 2022 Project. |

Background:
|
|
The Measure J Bond Program issued an invitation to bid on February 28, 2022. Bidders were notified of the requirement to be prequalified to bid the project. Bidders were also notified of a mandatory pre-bid conference on March 8, 2022. |
|

Status: |
On March 24, 2022, staff opened bids for the Asphalt Repair, Reseal and Restripe 2022 Project.
Staff recommends the contract be awarded to R&M Paving Contractors, Inc., the firm that provided the lowest cost, responsive, and responsible bid.
Attached to this agenda item is the contract for this work. |

The recommended contract amount is eight hundred eighty-eight thousand dollars ($888,000.00). This is a Measure J funded project. |
