The Special Board Meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. The Regular Board Meeting will be conducted via Zoom Webinar, and is in compliance with the Governor's Executive Order N-29-20 and subsequently N-08-21, which allows for a deviation of teleconference rules required by the Brown Act. Audience attendance at the Board meeting will not be permitted in person. Members of the public are encouraged to observe and participate remotely. 1.0 CALL TO ORDER
1.1 At Special Board meetings, comments may be taken for only those items appearing on the posted agenda. No action or discussion shall be undertaken, except that members of a legislative body or its staff may briefly respond to statements made or questions posed by persons exercising their public testimony rights under Government Code 54954.3. In addition, on their own initiative or in response to questions posed by the public, a member of a legislative body or its staff may ask a question for clarification, make a brief announcement, or make a brief report on his or her activities. Furthermore, a member of a legislative body, or the body itself, subject to rules or procedures of the legislative body, may provide a reference to staff or other resources for factual information, request staff to report back to the body at a subsequent meeting concerning any matter, or take action to direct staff to place a matter of business on a future agenda. B) Correspondence
2.2 Formal written correspondence to the Board of Education shall be acknowledged if received by the Board, or in the Superintendent's Office, by 9:00 a.m. the day of the meeting. Formal written correspondence received after the cutoff time will be acknowledged at the following meeting. Electronic communications received via the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District (LVJUSD) web site by accessing the "Formal Written Correspondence to the Board of Education" link, with all fields completed, shall be treated as formal written correspondence.

3.0 INFORMATION DISCUSSION ITEMS
3.1 The Board of Education and Cabinet Members will participate in a discussion and Study Session. Staff will provide background information and an update regarding the LVJUSD Mathematics Teaching and Learning Plan. Additional input will be gathered from all stakeholders to refine the Plan. The Board provides feedback and direction to staff. The Board takes no action during study sessions. Info
