Quick Summary / Abstract: Annual report of the state of Livermore Adult Education for the 2021-2022 school year.
Background: Livermore Adult Education serves adults in Livermore and the surrounding community, working to improve and enrich their lives through education, training and personal development. Livermore Adult Education is a member of the Mid-Alameda County Consortium for Adult Education. Educational opportunities are focused on English language support for non-native speakers of English, High School Completion or High School Equivalency Preparation (GED Prep) and supporting adults who support K-12 students. Programming is funded through the federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and California Adult Education Program (CAEP).
Status Livermore Adult Education currently offers programming at the following locations:

Nancy Steele Center at Marylin Avenue Elementary

Livermore Adult Education at the Almond Avenue campus

LVJUSD YouthBuild at Maintenance, Operations, and Facilities
Fiscal Impact Adult Education is funded primarily through the California Adult Education Program, the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act: Adult Education and Family Literacy Act, and designated Local Control Funding Formula dollars.
