Background:

In support of Goal 2 of our Local Control & Accountability Plan (LCAP), "Providing an engaging, clean, healthy, and physically and emotionally safe environment to support learning at the highest levels," our District is renewing the annual MOU with SCCOE to provide customized training for all school sites in support of PBIS implementation in the 2021-2022 school year.

Status

Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is defined as a systems approach for establishing the social culture and individual behavior supports needed for schools to achieve both social and academic success for all students while preventing problem behaviors. SCCOE and LVJUSD will work in partnership to develop and support the PBIS framework to improve access to inclusive, equitable and high-quality education for all students.

Fiscal Impact

There is no impact to the General Fund. The cost of the contract, $76,500.00, will be paid for from the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF).
