Staff is bringing a recommendation forward for our Board of Trustees to approve the lowest responsible bidder for the roofing replacement at Livermore High School.

Background:
|
Included in the Measure J Plan is roofing retrofit or replacement at several of our campuses. Several of the roofs at Livermore High School are in need of retrofit or replacement. Our Bond Department has identified this as a project that needs to be completed as part of Measure J.
|

Status
:
|
A bid walk was held on February 9, 2022, with C-39 licensed roofing contractors, and three bids were received on February 28, 2022. The lowest responsive and responsible bidder was Best Contracting Services with a bid of one hundred ninety-four thousand dollars ($194,000.00). The start date for this project is planned for June 13, 2022, and it will be completed by August 12, 2022.

The contract amount with Best Contracting Services will be one hundred ninety-four thousand dollars ($194,000.00) and will be funded by Measure J.
