Background:
|
The State requires that the Governing Board adopt a resolution certifying approval for the District to enter into agreements to provide State Preschool Programs and authorize staff to sign the transactions on behalf of the Governing Board.
|

Status
:
|
Our District has receives contracts from the State of California for operation of State Preschool Programs for the 2022-2023 Fiscal year. The Community Association for Preschool Education (CAPE) will continue to act as subcontractor for operation of the Preschool Programs.
|

Fiscal Impact
:
|
The proposed allocation is contingent upon full funding of the State Preschool by the State. There is no impact to the General Fund as monies received are passed through directly to the CAPE programs.
