Resolution No. 087-23/24 states that the Governing Board does hereby authorize the Superintendent, and the Assistant Superintendent of Business Services, to execute any contract during the months of July and August with a value exceeding $114,500.00 that is necessary and appropriate to ensure the continued and successful management of the District's programs on behalf of this Governing Board and Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District.

Background:
|
The following Non-Public Agency Contracts were executed in July and August to fill vacant Special Education positions and contract staff to provide Special Education Services for the 24-25 school year. The following Non-Public Agency contracts to be ratified are as follows :
Contract 1: The Stepping Stones Group LLC- Speech and Language Pathologist covering vacant PCN 2111. Contract amount is $175,680.00
Contract 2: Communication Works- Speech and Language Pathologist covering vacant PCN 2112. Contract amount is $179,080.00
Contract 3: Communication Works- Augmentative and Assistive Communication Specialist covering vacant PCN 1403. Contract amount is $196,840.00
Contract 4: Speech Pathology Group- Speech and Language Pathologist covering vacant PCN 2107. Contract amount is $188,266.00
Contract 5: Speech Pathology Group- Physical Therapist providing Physical Therapy services to District students. Contract amount is $174,240.00
Contract 6: A. Arons (Independent Contractor)- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing counseling and therapy to District students. Contract amount is $117,000.00
Contract 7: Hired Hands- Providing two American Sign Language Interpreters. Contract amount is $280,000.00
Contract 8: Upfront Interpreting LLC- Providing two American Sign Language Interpreters. Contract amount is $277,000.00
Contract 9: Amergis Healthcare Staffing Services Inc.- Providing one Speech and Language Pathologist covering vacant PCN 1390. Contract amount $171,000.00
Contract 10: Compass Therapeutic Services, LLC- Providing two Registered Behavior Technicians and Behavior Analyst to support a District student. Contract amount $257,280.00
