Quick Summary / Abstract: Approval of Revisions to Salary Schedules for the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 School Year.
Background: On March 1, 2022, our Board of Education approved the changes to the Livermore Education Association (LEA) collective bargaining agreement, which has been ratified by LEA membership. Changes include a 3.0% competitive compensation adjustment, retroactive to July 1, 2021, for the 2021-2022 school year, and 4.0% ongoing for the 2022-2023 school year.
Status This increase is then automatically applied to all other employee groups, including the Board of Education.
Fiscal Impact The impact to the General Fund is approximately $3.5 million.
Superintendent's Recommendation: Approve the Revisions to Salary Schedules for the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 School Year.
