Quick Summary / Abstract: Our Board is being asked to vote for no more than four candidates to serve as CSBA Delegate members for a two-year term, beginning April 1, 2022 - March 31, 2024.
Background: Board members have received the biographical sketches for nominees for the 2022 election of representatives to the California School Boards Association Delegate Assembly for Subregion 7-B, Alameda County.
Status There are four vacancies. The Board is to vote for no more than four of the candidates. During the February 15, 2022, our Board approved one write-in candidate, Ken Rawdon of Hayward Unified School District. Per CSBA recommended practice, in the event there are more candidates than vacancies, the Board will discuss each Delegate Assembly Biographical sketch for the 2022 Election, and vote on each individually.

The candidates are:
Kelly Mokashi (Pleasanton Unified School District)
Monique Tate (San Leandro Unified School District)*
Megan Sweet (Alameda Unified School District)
Anne White (Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District )*
Write-in candidate: Kenneth Rawdon (Hayward Unified School District)

Fiscal Impact There is no impact to the General Fund.
