Staff is bringing a recommendation forward for our Board of Trustees' award of a contract for the Croce Elementary School Parking Lot Fencing Project (Project).

Background:
|
The Measure J Bond Program issued an invitation to bid on January 31, 2022. Bidders were notified of the requirement to be prequalified to bid the project. Bidders were also notified of a mandatory pre-bid walk on February 9, 2022.
|

Status
:
|
On February 15, 2022, staff opened bids for the Croce Elementary School Parking Lot Fencing Project.
Staff recommends the contract be awarded to Westside Landscape & Concrete, Inc., the firm that provided the lowest cost, responsive, and responsible bid.
Attached to this agenda item is the contract for this work.

Fiscal Impact

The recommended contract amount is one hundred eleven thousand nine hundred sixty-two dollars ($111,962.00). This is a Measure J funded project.
