Background:

In accordance with Board Policy 3300(a), which requires the establishment and maintenance of effective purchasing procedures that are consistent with sound financial controls and ensure our District receives maximum value for items purchased, it has been the practice of our District to present to our Board of Education for approval the purchase orders generated each month.
