Staff is bringing a recommendation forward for our Board of Trustees' approval of a contract for architectural services for the Marylin Avenue Elementary School New Classroom Building Project.

Background:
|
Our Board of Trustees approved Lionakis Architects as part of a pool of firms authorized to provide architectural services to LVJUSD.
|
|
Status
:
|
Based upon criteria, which includes items such as experience working in the District previously, proposed team members, and proposed costs, the Measure J Bond Team recommends that the contract for this work be awarded to Lionakis Architects.
The contract being requested is for early design services including architectural work though design development. Staff will return with a request to award a contract for construction documents preparation when funding is available.

Fiscal Impact

The recommended contract amount is three hundred eighty-six thousand five hundred sixty-three dollars ($386,563.00). This is a Measure J funded project.
