Quick Summary / Abstract: Staff will present our A-G Completion Improvement Grant Plan.
Background: The A-G Completion Improvement Grant Program provides additional support to local educational agencies (LEAs) to help increase the number of California high school pupils, particularly unduplicated pupils, who graduate from high school with A-G eligibility requirements completed for admission to the California State University and the University of California.

The A-G Completion Improvement Grant is a four-year plan that is reported to the California Department of Education in December 2023 and August 2026. Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District (LVJUSD) received $398,340 to increase the number of students who graduate being A-G eligible.

Our Plan includes actions and expenditures to meet our three District Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) and Grant goals for all students and specifically for English Language Learners (ELL), Socio-Economically Disadvantaged (SED), and/or foster youth.

The A-G Completion Improvement Grant Plan is developed and updated annually after consultation with teachers, principals, administrators, and school personnel.
Status Our A-G Completion Improvement Grant Plan includes actions and activities for all students in our District, as well as specific actions primarily designed for students who are EL, SED, and/or foster youth.

The Board will be asked to approve the Plan at the March 15, 2022 Board meeting.
Fiscal Impact There is no impact to the General Fund.
