Background:

California Week of the School Administrator is a time to honor all School Administrators and to commend them for providing the leadership and direction that is essential for schools and districts to fulfill the mission of public education for students entrusted to their leadership.
School Administrator is a broad term used to define many educational leadership positions. Principals, vice principals, special education and adult education leaders, curriculum and instructional leaders, school business officials, classified educational leaders, superintendents, assistant and deputy superintendents, and other school district employees are considered administrators,
A School Administrator's career is both rewarding and often stressful, and covers a broad range of duties that require strong leadership, problem-solving skills, compassion, knowledge of school policies, and years of experience in the field of education.

Throughout the last 18 months and the COVID-19 pandemic, our school administrators have risen to the occasion and stepped up as role models for faculty, staff, students, and families, to ensure the safety and health of students, to provide a quality education, and to problem-solve with flexibility and the compassion often needed during these unprecedented times.
The Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District (LVJSD) is fortunate to have high-quality school administrators who lead with passion and contribute skills and knowledge that are essential to our District's mission to empower each student to graduate with the skills needed to contribute and thrive in a changing world.
