Staff is seeking our Board of Trustees' authorization to bid the Altamont Creek Elementary School Shade Structure Project (Project).
|
|
Background:
|
The project consists of the installation of a shade canopy structure adjacent to the multipurpose room at Altamont Creek Elementary School, consistent with other elementary shade structures in our District. This Project will provide much-needed shade for outdoor dining.
The Project will be formally bid and the work is expected to take place during the 2022 summer break.

Status
:

HKIT Architects is developing bid documents for the Project consistent with District standards and the Division of the State Architect (DSA) requirements.
Staff will seek approval for the award of contract with the lowest responsive and responsible bidder at the next available Board meeting following the bid.

Fiscal Impact
:

This is a Measure J funded project. The total budget allocation for this project is three hundred twelve thousand dollars ($312,000.00).
|

The Superintendent's recommendation is that our Board of Trustees approve the Authorization to Bid the Altamont Creek Elementary School Shade Structure Project.
