Quick Summary / Abstract:
|
Using our Board's Civility Resolution as a model exemplar, the City of Livermore, Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District (LVJUSD), and Livermore Area Recreation and Parks District (LARPD), in partnership with Las Positas College, have developed a DRAFT joint resolution to address the importance of Civility and Respect to the effective operation of each agency. These Livermore civic and educational leaders are committed to highlight and encourage the personal qualities that are emblematic of a civil society - gratitude, humility, openness, passion for service to others, kindness, caring, and a commitment to doing what is right within our community. Each agency's elected body is being asked to approve the DRAFT Joint Agency Resolution in support of an inclusive and respectful environment.
