Background:
|
The ASES (After School Education and Safety) program has been in operation for 1st through 5th-grade students since February 2007, and expanded to offer services to students in transitional kindergarten, kindergarten, and sixth grade beginning August 2022.
|

Status
:
|
Our District appreciates the successful collaborative partnership with Livermore Area Recreation and Park District (LARPD), which began in the 2008/2009 school year. LARPD will continue to provide after-school enrichment program opportunities to students who participate in the ASES program and the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P) at Leo Croce Elementary, Jackson Avenue Elementary, Joe Michell K-8 School, Marylin Avenue Elementary and Junction K-8 School. The term of this agreement shall begin September 1, 2024, and will terminate on August 31, 2025.

There is no impact to the General Fund. All costs associated with the are paid through grant and categorical funds.
