Quick Summary / Abstract:
Background: Effective January 1, 2022, the minimum wage rate has increased to $15.00 per hour. Additionally, several categories of short-term assignments have been modified to reflect the current job market situation. As a result, the Substitute Salary Schedule has been revised to reflect these increases. The following job classifications are impacted by the new rate or have been modified:

Childcare Provider
Clerical
High School Students
Interpreter
Lifeguard I
Special Project Assessment Clerk
Special Project Tester
Student Graphics/Digital Media Assistant
Translator

Fiscal Impact The fiscal impact will vary based on the need for substitutes.
