Staff is seeking our Board of Trustee’s Authorization to Bid the Asphalt Repair, Reseal and Restripe Project.
|
|
Background:
|
This project will address asphalt repair, reseal and restriping of parking lot areas and hardcourt areas at sites throughout the District.
The campuses identified by our Board of Trustees for upgrading include: Altamont Creek Elementary School, Arroyo Seco Elementary School, Croce Elementary School, Jackson Avenue Elementary School, Marylin Avenue Elementary School, Lawrence Elementary School, Smith Elementary School, Sunset Elementary School, Junction K-8 School, Christensen Middle School, Mendenhall Middle School, Granada High School, Vineyard Elementary School, Del Valle High School, Arroyo Mocho, and the District Office.
The Project will be bid in phases based on budget and schedule constraints.
Staff is seeking our Board of Trustees' authorization to bid the Asphalt Repair, Reseal and Restripe Project.

Status

Lionakis Architects is developing bid documents for this project consistent with District standards.
Staff will seek approval for award of contract with the lowest responsive and responsible bidder at the next available Board meeting following each bid.

Fiscal Impact
:

This is a Measure J funded project. The total budget allocation for this project is three million five hundred thirty-seven thousand two hundred seventy-eight dollars ($3,537,278.00).
|
|

The Superintendent's recommendation is that our Board of Trustees approve the Authorization to Bid the District-Wide Asphalt Repair, Reseal and Restripe Project.
