Staff is presenting Resolution No. 019-24/25, Authorization to Sign State Preschool Contracts for Fiscal Year 2025-2026, for our Board of Trustees' approval.

Background:
|
The State requires that the Governing Board adopt a resolution certifying approval for the District to enter into agreements to provide State Preschool Programs and authorize staff to sign the transactions on behalf of the Governing Board.
|
|
Status
:
|
Our District has received contracts from the State of California for the operation of State Preschool Programs for the 2025-2026 Fiscal year. The Community Association for Preschool Education (CAPE) will continue to act as subcontractor for the operation of the Preschool Programs.
|
|
Fiscal Impact
:
|
The proposed allocation is contingent upon full funding of the State Preschool by the State. There is no impact to the General Fund as monies received are passed through directly to the CAPE programs.
|

|
Our Superintendent's recommendation is that our Board of Trustees approve Resolution No. 019-24/25, Authorization to Sign State Preschool Contracts for Fiscal Year 2025-2026.
