Quick Summary / Abstract:
Background: Education Code requires that the Board of Education must approve
the surplus of District instructional materials that are obsolete.
Instructional materials will be given to Livermore students, donated,
or recycled for the purpose of increasing literacy, per Education Code
60511 and 60530.
Status The list of attached instructional materials will be offered to
Livermore students, donated or recycled according to Education Code 60511 and 60530. They are rendered obsolete due to the new
adoptions in various content areas, e.g., Physical Science, Earth Science, and Life Science.
Fiscal Impact There is no impact to the General Fund.
Superintendent's Recommendation: Approve the Surplus of Instructional Materials.
