Staff is bringing a recommendation forward for our Board of Trustees to award a contract for the Rancho Las Positas Elementary School Exterior Painting Project.

Background:
|
Included in the Measure J Plan is the painting of the exteriors of most campuses. In line for painting this summer is Rancho Las Positas Elementary School.
The project scope includes preparing surfaces prior to painting
and painting all exterior buildings and doors, as well as the insides of doors and frames. Staff met with the principal of Rancho Las Positas Elementary School to determine which areas will receive which paint colors.

Status

A bid walk was held on April 4, 2022, with C-33 painting license
holders to review the site and job. Six bids were received on
April 12, 2022. The lowest responsive and responsible bid was received from Yoda Painting Inc. for ninety-two thousand dollars ($92,000.00).

Fiscal Impact
:

The contracted cost with Yoda Painting Inc. will be ninety-two thousand dollars ($92,000.00). This is a Measure J funded project.

The Superintendent's recommendation is that our Board of Trustees
