Staff is bringing a recommendation forward for our Board of Trustees' approval of a contract for project inspection services for the HVAC Replacement 2023/24 Project (Project).
|
|
Background:
|
As part of the HVAC Replacement 2023/24 Project, the Division of the State Architect (DSA) requires review and inspection of the construction scope of work.
Our Board of Trustees approved the updated pool of firms authorized to provide project inspection services to our District at the Regular Board of Trustees Meeting on January 14, 2020.
|

Status

On December 6, 2023, a Request for Proposal (RFP) was issued to our Board approved pool of inspectors. Proposals were received on February 8, 2024, and reviewed by staff.
Based upon criteria which includes items such as experience working with our District, availability, and proposed costs, the Measure J Bond Team recommends that the contract for this work be awarded to Patmos Engineering & Inspection Corporation.

The recommended contracted amount is seventy-two thousand, nine hundred thirty and 00/100 dollars ($72,930.00). This is a Measure J funded project.
