Background:

Education Code Section 5016 provides that, prior to conducting a school board election on and after March 1, 1977, the governing board of each school district shall establish whether a tie vote of two or more candidates for a term of office of governing board members shall be determined by lot or by calling a run-off election.
|

The regular election for Board members in school district will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022.
