Three Altamont Creek staff members and one Board member respectfully request Board approval to attend the U.S. Department of Education Green Ribbon School Ceremony in Washington D. C., July 25, 2022 through July 27, 2022. The attendees will attend the ceremony to be recognized at the National level as a Green Ribbon School.
This is a ceremony that offers numerous events that highlight different sustainable practices and opportunities to network with fellow Green Ribbon School recipients. The awards ceremony will be live-streamed and will promote the school’s accomplishments through social media both at the site and District level.

The expense associated with the conference, including travel and lodging, will be funded by designated General Fund dollars.
