Staff is bringing a recommendation forward for our Board of Trustees to award a contract for our Annual Districtwide Fire Alarm Testing.

Background:
|
Our District is required by law to test fire alarm devices throughout our District annually, which includes a total of 4,694 heat and smoke detectors and strobe lights.
|

Status
:
|
Three bids were received on April 19, 2022, and the lowest responsive and responsible bid was received from JCS Fire for sixty-three thousand seven hundred thirty dollars ($63,730.00). Testing will take place during the Summer of 2022 and will be completed by August 12, 2022.

Fiscal Impact
:

The contracted cost with JCS Fire will be sixty-three thousand seven hundred thirty dollars ($63,730.00) and will be funded by Parcel Tax Measure A.

The Superintendent's recommendation is that our Board of Trustees approve the Award of Contract for the Annual Districtwide Fire Alarm Testing.
