Background:
|
At the June 20, 2023 Board Meeting, our Board of Trustees approved a Lease-Leaseback contract with Flint Design Build, LLC dba Flint for the Project.
|

Status
:
|
Flint Design Build, LLC dba Flint has completed the Project on schedule and within budget. The Bond Program Department is submitting Resolution No. 018-24/25, Acceptance of the HVAC Replacement 2023/24 Project (Croce Elementary School, Arroyo Seco Elementary School, Rancho Las Positas Elementary School, Granada High School, and Livermore High School) - to our Board of Trustees for approval and is requesting Board of Trustees' direction to file a Notice of Completion (NOC) with the Alameda County Recorder's Office. Filing the Notice of Completion notifies the subcontractors and suppliers that the project is complete, and that they should have been paid by the general contractor. Businesses owed money on this project have time to file stop notices which restrict our District from paying any final retention amounts to the general contractor until the expiration of the required 35-day time period. Should there be any outstanding stop notices on the project, our District will withhold payment from the general contractor as appropriate.

The original contract amount was five million, four hundred thirty-four thousand, seventy-seven and 63/100 dollars ($5,434,077.63), with Board approved deductive change order of four hundred seventy-two thousand, three hundred ninety and 00/100 dollars (-$472,390.00). The total contract amount is four million, nine hundred sixty-one thousand, six hundred eighty-seven and 63/100 Dollars ($4,961,687.63). This is a Measure J funded Project.
