Background:
|
After the budget is adopted for the fiscal year, revenues may be
received that were unanticipated at the time of the budget adoption or may be received in amounts greater or less than the amount
anticipated and budgeted. Education Code Sections 42600, 42601,
42602, and 42610 provide our Board of Education with the authority
to transfer budgets between major expenditure classifications or
from undistributed reserves. Education Code Section 35161 permits
our Board to delegate duties to an officer of our District. A resolution
delegating this duty must be filed with the County Superintendent of
Schools.

Status
:

This resolution authorizes our Assistant Superintendent, Business
Services to transfer budgets as needed from one expense object to
another and from the undesignated fund balance to the appropriate
expense accounts as needed.

:
|
There is no impact to the General Fund.

Our Superintendent recommends adoption, by roll call vote, of
